Come out and view life from another angle - see Culpeper County from the air! This FREE event has something for the entire family. This years Air Fest promises to be spectacular! You'll see Restored Antiques, Classics, Military Trainers, Fighters, Helicopters, Jets, and Model Airplanes. The Bealeton Flying Circus along with their spectacular wing-walking event will leave you breathless. See the FARM Club and their unique radio controlled model airplanes, Dr. Smoke and his Marchetti that emits red, white and blue smoke, Sean Carroll with his Yak-9, Kevin Russo and his powerful T6, and others performing in the afternoon. The spectacular War Birds based here at Culpeper, including the Percival Provost - a Royal Air Force trainer and other magnificently restored military aircraft of the Commemorative Air Force's immaculately kept museum will also be on display. And once again, the highlight of this year's AirFest is the only privately-owned "Harrier" in the world, flown by Art Nalls. Bring your friends and family and enjoy the show together. The Culpeper County Parks & Recreation Department will host a number of kids activities, including face painting. Kids ages 8-17 can sign up for free airplane rides. Food & Drinks will be available from various vendors, including hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, pizza and more.
