                        <strong>Description:</strong> Beginning on Friday morning, the Civil War encampment will be open to the public at 9am. Throughout the day there will be demonstrations in domestic life in and around the Culpeper area as they get ready for war. The Burgandine House will be open as well with a recreatio...n of a small home of the 1860's period. There will be games for children, and men training and drilling. These activites will end around 5pm each night, but the encampment will stay open to the public until 8pm. There will be a tour of the Burgandine House after sunset by candlelight. 

Activities will include candle making, food preparation and cooking by fire, spinning wool, churning butter and more. 

Step inside the Museum of Culpeper History to see the exhibit, The Emerging Storm: Culpeper Braces for War and other great displays! 

On Sunday, the Civil War encampment will continue, and the Museum will open at noon<br />

The Bealeton Flying Circus along with their spectacular wing-walking event will leave you breathless.
