CulpeperFest:

Description: Come enjoy food, fun, music, a variety of booths from local businesses and organizations, and a good time! Bring your appetite and enjoy pork, lamb, catfish, chicken, hot dogs, Italian sausage and all the fixin's. (Dinner served from 5 to 7:30 p.m.) Put on your dancin' feet and enjoy the FAB Band (formerly the Fat Ammons Band)! Tickets by advance sale only at the Chamber of Commerce, BB&T, Second Bank & Trust, SunTrust, Virginia Community Bank, and Wachovia. First Friday's "Libations on the Lawn" at the Museum:

Watch as pre-registered drivers, ages 8-17, race in cars that they have built to win a chance to go to Akron, Ohio to represent Culpeper at the All-American World Soap Box Derby Championship Race in July of 2008. It's fun and exciting for all ages!

The show features custom, classic, hot rod, truck, under-construction cars, antiques and motorcycles. Registration for participants is 8:00a.m. to 10:00a.m., and pre-registration is suggested. Judging begins at 10:00 a.m., and the Awards Presentations start at 2:30 p.m.

The Fire Department will also provide games, including their Famous Dunking Booth, Pan Game, and Horse Racing. Corn Dogs, Cotton Candy, Popcorn, Candy Apples, and Funnel Cakes! Homemade delights made by the Fire Department Auxiliary, including their World Famous Barbecue, Pies, Cakes and mouth-watering Fried Chicken Dinners. The Fair will also have CJ's Ice Cream back again - always a big treat! So come to the Fair, help the fire department, and enjoy!
